About Sania - Founder of Zaffron
With over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, global program management, and educational event planning, I’ve had the privilege of coordinating high-level meetings and mission-driven experiences across the world — from surgical symposiums in underserved regions to corporate retreats, donor & Board receptions, and immersive educational travel. My background includes managing fellowships and research initiatives at premier medical associations & foundations, where I helped shape opportunities for clinicians globally. These roles refined my strengths in logistics, cultural sensitivity, and designing experiences that blend purpose with polish.
Alongside my corporate career, I grew up immersed in the vibrant world of South Asian hospitality and décor through my family’s event business, STARZ Decor. That personal legacy taught me the beauty of intentional design and the power of celebration rooted in tradition and connection. Over the years, I found deep joy in organizing luxury escapes, wellness retreats, milestone parties, and curating group travel for loved ones — often taking the lead on everything from hotel scouting to itinerary design.
